Update on our summer.

In May the kids were out of school for summer vacation for just one day and we were off to our favorite place...Disneyland!! We went on our annual vacation to California with our kids and Preston's brother and family. Darrin and Tiff. We were gone for 7 days and had a blast. We have been going to Disneyland every year for the last 5 years and last June we decided to purchase Annual Passes. We went 3 times this last year with them. It was so much fun, we got to see all the Christmas decorations, "magic snow", etc. when we went in November. We love to just walk through the gates at Disneyland and forget about everything else in the world for a little while. When we got back from vacation we had to keep the kids busy for summer so we purchased season passes for Seven Peaks, and summer movie passes for them too. So we have been busy swimming and watching movies, hanging out enjoying summer. We went camping over the fourth of July with all of our family and had a great time. The kids loved it as we havent been camping since Brooke was 2. Now we just need a truck and a trailer so we can go more, as with a family of six it is hard to fit everything you need to camp comfortably into our van.
We are now getting into the back to school mode by getting all the school clothes and supplies needed. Nate is going into seventh grade and is excited. He gets to start a day earlier than everyone else, so he can find all of his classes. Andrew is way excited to be a junior this year and made it on the Yearbook staff. He went on a yearbook camp this summer to at USU for a week. Brittany is on the Schools Shakespeare Team this year and gets to go to Cedar City in October for 2 days. She doesn't want her parents to be chaperones....maybe we should!? School starts August 20th. It will be nice when they are back in school as I think they are getting bored of summer.
