Just a little update.

We went to the BYU game on saturday and it was AWESOME!! We plowed over UCLA 59-0. It was a very fun game to go to. After the game we went to a new place for dinner with Darrin and Tiff. It is called Zupas. Pres wasn't too sure about eating there. They have all different salads, soups, and sandwiches to choose from. Also yummy desserts that looked so good. I tried the chicken tortilla soup and the chipolte chicken salad. YUM! Preston had a california turkey panini sandwich and a cobb salad. He was impressed with this place! He said we will go back there and eat again. YEA!!! They give you a big slice of yummy bread and a big chocolate dipped strawberry with your meal. It is a lot of food. I couldn't finish it, but man was it good. I can't wait to go back and try some more things. Yum!

Brooke lost her other front tooth last night. She came to me when she was done eating a popsicle and complained that it hurt and it was bleeding. I tried to see if it was ready to pull out but it was still pretty much in there. I told her to keep wiggling it and we will see how it is later. So she comes back to me about a half hour later and I pulled it out. Actually it was just bearly hanging there. She was excited and her smile is so cute with no front top teeth!!

My son Nate has a friend who's mom is in love with Disneyland as much as me! She is awesome. Well we talk about Disneyland everytime we see each other. Her family has won the "dream ears" at Disneyland and I told her how badly I wanted to win some. She shared one pair with me! This last trip we made in June we won the Dream Fast Passes and I loved winning them but really wanted to win the Dream Ears too. I am starting to collect the ears and am in heaven now she has shared a pair with me! Wooo hooo! Thank you so much Bonnie!

Brooke's new haircut.

We were doing Brooke's hair on saturday and I was telling her how long it is getting again. Well we were on our way to the store and Brooke had told her dad she wanted to get a haircut. So he asked her if she wanted to get it cut today. She said well okay. So we got to the salon and I asked her how much she wanted cut off or what she wanted done. She tells me "to here mom." Well guess how much she wants cut off....6 inches!! I was sad but she is so cute and wanted it cut like that so we did it. It turned out sooo cute!! We straightened it later and it is way cute. She looks to grown up though with it like that. She cannot grow up too fast. She is my youngest!

Saturday:

Pres and I went to the BYU game, we played Northern Iowa. It was a good game. Although it was extremely hot when we first got there for an hour or so, then the clouds came and saved us from the bright sun. We went with Darrin and Kaiden. BYU won 41-17. It is fun to go to the games and be there with all the other fans so excited. I can't wait till the next home game on saturday Sept. 13, we play UCLA. (Get ready Tiff for your blue face paint!!)

Sunday:

We went to church and then went on a picnic dinner with Preston's family. Except for mom and dad, as mom wasn't feeling up to it. We went up to Hobble Creek Canyon. It is very beautiful up there and I have never been. I think we will go more often and go camping up there too. We ate dinner and set up the volleyball net and played a bunch of games of volleyball. Well I tried to play as much as I could but I had some ball hogs on my team!! The kids played on the swings, and in the small creek, and croquet. They had fun! We also saw a mommy deer and her baby run through the area we were in. We got a fire going and roasted marshmellows and made yummy smores. Then it started raining when we were done. So we packed up and left. It was a good day and fun to get all together and play. When we came home from the canyon, Brooke was eating an ice cream and she complained to me that her tooth hurt. Well this tooth has been bearly hanging there all day and her sister had been telling her to just pull it out. She would scream NO! So I told her to let me "see" the tooth since "it hurt". So I touched it and it fell out! She was so excited and then asked me if it was bleeding... I said nope! Then she was happy and excited. It is one of her top front teeth. So cute!!! I love it when my kids loose their front top teeth. They just look so cute without them!! Her other one is also loose so I told her to keep wiggling it so it will fall out before school pictures next week. She was so excited to go to bed so the tooth fairy would come. She woke up the next morning and came running into my room saying "Mom I got 2 dollars from the tooth fairy!!!"

Monday:

It was Labor day and a rainy cold day. Andrew was scheduled to work at seven peaks and his boss said to still come into work. I called him a little bit after he got there and he said they were not going to open until maybe later... (ya right!) So they were going to clean and stuff for the end of the year closing. Pres and I wanted to take the kids to go see Kung Fu Panda. We got ready and wanted to see the 12:45 movie. We got there and the lines were crazy! I got out to see if we could get into a movie and they were all sold out until 4:30 and I didn't know if we would get into even that one. So we drove to the orem theater to see if we could get into that one. No such luck! It was sold out too. We all decided to go to the Orem mall and eat some yummy lunch. Then we walked around the mall and shopped. Of course we had to make a stop at the Disney store. Ahhh I just love walking in there....it is the closest thing to being in Disneyland when you are 9 hours away from the real thing. I can't wait till June!!! We came home and just relaxed the rest of the day. It was a nice day.
