Stuff that has been happening...

Britt got to go to Shakespeare competition. She was on the dance team.

This is their fridge in their hotel room.  They discovered a cool grocery store across the street, so they stocked up on snacks.

Four girls in a hotel room and it got kinda messy.  They had so much fun though!!  They had to hurry in the mornings to get to where they needed to be.  Britt felt bad for the maid having to come in their mess.

Andrew asked Haley Roney to Homecoming this year.  Andrew did a great job coming up with fun things to do on their day date.  He made up an "Amazing Race" game for them to play.  They went to lunch and then came home to get ready for the dance and dinner.  For dinner they went to Carrabas Italian Grill.  Then to the dance.  Afterwards they went to a friends house and watched a movie.  They had a lot of fun!

First day of school!!

First day of third grade for Brooke! She was so excited for school that
the night before she couldn't sleep, kinda like the commercial for
Disneyland where the kids and dad say "I'm too excited to sleep". She
has great teachers and it is going to be a fun year for her!

Nate's first day as an 8th grader! He is excited to go back to school

and be with all his friends. He has alot of fun classes this year along with

being a teachers aid. He will have lots of fun.

Brittany is now in High School! Whoa where did the time go? She is

a sophomore and so excited for this year! New school and lots of new

friends! She has lots of fun classes and is going to have fun times!

Andrew is our big senior this year. He has fun classes and is also the

editor for the yearbook this year. He was on yearbook last year but

loved it so much that he wanted to be editor and got it! He is really

good at photography and everything so it will be fun to see what they do

with it this year.

This year will be lots of fun seeing our kids grow more and their

experiences. They sure do grow up too fast! I love you guys! Do your

best in school and have lots of fun!

Our Disneyland Vacation 2009

We hung out at the pool a few times at the hotel. They have an awesome Pirates cove play area for the kids and a nice big hot tub for the adults!

This is a big bucket that fills up and dumps on the kids! You can bearly see Brooke in the middle of the water! She absolutely loved this part!

TOY STORY MANIA was new to us this year and it was one of our most favorite rides this time! It is so fun and we had to ride it a lot!! Preston and Darrin won us every time on this one.

We got to see the new "Magical" fireworks as a part of the SUMMER NIGHTASTIC promotion they have going on this summer. They were cool and had Dumbo flying across the sky along with Tinker Bell. I liked them but the 50th Remember Dreams Come True fireworks will be hard to beat!! We also got to see Selena Gomez right before they started the fireworks. She was the one to start them. That was cool!

We love the Electrical Parade in California Adventure and this year they added new floats and more lights. It was amazing!! I was impressed with the changes!

We watched the new Celebrate Street Parade. It was fun and very loud!! They had a lot of cool characters you don't usually get to see! Fun!

This was Tiff's idea to pose like the Lady Bug in Bugs Life...Yes it took awhile to get everyone in their pose...ha ha and some got in trouble!! Memories!!! Fun times!

We have so many fun times at Disneyland and absolutely LOVE IT!! Just wanted to post some pics of our vacation and hope you enjoy them.

~Brooke's Baptism~

On Saturday June 6th Brooke had a wonderful day. She was baptized and confirmed to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was so excited for this day to come. She counted down every day for a month. Her dad baptized her and confirmed her and her family and friends all came and supported her. She had the best day!

Catching up.

We have been busy lately. Andrew and Britt now have jobs. They have been training and now officially started working. This isn't new for Andrew as he did this last year, but is new for Britt. Andrew is a supervisor this year and is excited. He will have a lot more responsibility and I know he will do great! Britt is excited and nervous all at the same time. It is fun watching them grow up and experience new things....but truly I don't want them to grow up this fast!! I have been having to drive back and forth taking her to work and back but it's worth it. She will now have her own money!

Pres has taken up the hobby of running. Britt has a fitness day at school where they can sign up to run a 5K. She asked her dad to run with her. Today was the day. They ran the whole thing without stopping. Britt kept saying she was going to die! And that she couldn't keep running. Pres kept encouraging her and telling her she could do it. They did! She and Pres ran the 5K in 30 min and 30 seconds!! That is so good for Britt's very first time! I was so proud of them both! Pres wants to run a 10K next. He can do it. I will be there to cheer him on!

Brooke had her 2nd grade graduation program today at school. It was very cute. They sang a bunch of songs and did a little overview of what they did this year. My favorite was the song they sang of "Lean on me" They all got to do their own dancing for a part of it. Very cute! I can't believe school is almost out this year and my youngest will be in 3rd grade next year! Better yet I can't believe we are going to have a senior in high school, and a sophmore! Nate will be in 8th grade! Wow time flies too fast! We love our kids and are so proud of them. Keep up the good work guys! Now time for summer fun!
