Whats been going on....

Summer is almost over! 9 more days until school starts for most of my kids. Nate gets to go a day earlier. I can't believe how fast summer went by. We have all the kids school clothes bought except Andrew. He has been working every day so hopefully we can take him on Thursday when he gets off work.

We took the kids bowling last week and they absolutely enjoyed it. We all had a great time! Preston and I used to be on bowling leagues when we first got married for many years after that. We had good bowling averages, of course Pres was way better than me! Well when we bowled with the kids we all didn't bowl very well until the second game. Then everyone got the hang of it and we bowled really good! Here are our scores: Brooke 79 Britt 75 Tam 167 Pres 186 Nate 115 We all had fun and they want to go more often now. Nate I think will be a really good bowler. He gets it! Takes after his dad I guess. Fun times!!

Britt goes to girls camp tomorrow for 3 days! She is really excited and loves girls camp. This will be the last year at a certain camp and next year they get to go to a new camp in Heber. She is looking forward to that. The hard thing will be she has to go without her phone and ipod for 3 days.....can she survive? :)

Andrew has been our hard working boy! He works at Seven Peaks and just got a promotion a couple of weeks ago. He got a nice raise, and now supervises and has more responsibility. He does very well at his job and we are proud of him. He is doing well on saving for a car. He wants something nice and it will be exciting to watch him decide what to buy.

We had our annual yard sale on saturday with our family. It is usually so busy from the time we are setting up till we leave, and this time it was not so busy. We made some money but nothing like years past. So we are now going to have another one in September some time. Right as we were putting things away we had a down pour! We were soaked when we were done!! We cleaned up faster than I think we ever have. At least we got cooled off I guess.
